We’re proud to recognize Roseanne Marwan Jaouhari as one of our 2022 RWPEF Scholars. Her dedication to academic excellence and active involvement in her local community set her apart. We’re excited to see all she will achieve in the years to come.

“Howdy!! My name is Roseanne Marwan Jaouhari.

I will be attending Texas A&M at Galveston majoring in Computer Engineering, and later attend the College Station campus and graduate with the Class of 2026! The degree I will be pursuing at A&M is Computer Engineering, I have always admired this field because every day new technology is shaping the social, economical, and environmental aspects of the world.

Throughout high school I always aimed to be involved in my school and in my community. I was able to obtain leadership positions at College View high school in multiple organizations as well as maintain my academics. These organizations include SkillsUSA, National Honor Society, Student Council, Mathematics UIL, Number Sense UIL, Calculator Applications UIL, and United Way of the Brazos Valley Youth Leadership Cabinet. I was able to gain the presidency position of both SkillsUSA and Student Council, and treasurer position in UWBV Youth Leadership Cabinet. In these organizations I was able to be more in touch with my community through different meetings, assembly’s,and many volunteering opportunities. I plan on continuing to be involved in my future community in order to stay connected and help make important changes.

In my time at Texas A&M I hope to find meaningful organizations so I will continue to be involved and benefit the environment around me as much as possible. I would like to take this opportunity to say how thankful I am, for your dedication to help me academically and financially through college. Receiving this scholarship truly motivates me in my success for next semester and will let me focus more on my academics. By awarding me this scholarship, you have impacted my financial burden significantly and I can not express my gratitude enough for the Richard Wayne Pollard Education Foundation finding and choosing me to be one of the 2022 recipients.”
