Shreya Majeti - RWPEF Scholar

Congratulations to Shreya Majeti, one of our 2020 RWPEF Scholarship recipients! Shreya has demonstrated exceptional academic drive and a strong commitment to serving her community. Her leadership, compassion, and dedication reflect the very values RWPEF was founded to support. We’re excited to watch her journey unfold as she continues to make a difference.

“Shreya Majeti graduated summa cum laude from College Station High School’s Class of 2020. During her time as a Cougar, Shreya shined in and out of the classroom. She is a National Merit Commended Scholar, AP Scholar w/ Distinction, National AP Scholar, C.S.I.S.D. Education Foundation Honoree, PTO Scholar and Priya Haji Memorial Award/Kush Thakrar Memorial Award/WT Taylor & Mary Jo Riedel Memorial Award/Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Award/Rice Investment and Endowment Grant/Thomas J Watson Memorial Departmental Award recipient. She matured into an outstanding speaker and leader, resulting in her being the president of the Cougar Speech and Debate Club and the school’s HOSA-Future Health Professionals Chapter. Shreya held the office of Secretary in the CSHS Student Council for 3 years and was the inaugural secretary of CSHS’s JSA and Amnesty International club. She was also actively involved in National Honor Society as the Vice President of Social Media. Outside of school, Shreya enjoyed ice skating, winning silver with the ITS HOT team/bronze for the graduation senior award nationally, and is a Junior Brazos Leadership Alum. She volunteered at St Joseph’s and Larry J Ringer Library and was a Junior Coach, and Exhibition Choreographer at Spirit Ice Arena. She interned at Texas A&M’s biophysics and biochemistry department. Going forward, Shreya will be pursuing her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Rice University, with hopes of attending medical school and becoming a pediatric surgeon.”
